Dr. Nadia Giannetti is a McGill and Stanford-trained Advanced Heart Failure cardiologist with leadership experience at the McGill University Health Centre, where she served as Chief of Cardiology and Associate Physician-in-Chief. She has also held key roles with the Canadian Cardiovascular Society and in shaping the Canadian Heart Failure Guidelines. Pascal’s mission is to leverage technology to enhance the quality of life within society. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Université Laval and has furthered his studies at Polytechnique Montréal and McGill University. During his doctoral studies, he specialized in human-robot collaboration, working with CHU de Québec to develop a robot for cancer treatment.
His passion for entrepreneurship led him to participate in programs such as Entrepreneuriat Laval, McGill’s Experimental Surgery, and Centech. This experience inspired him to cofound Corstem, a company focused on AI-driven cardiac imaging software.
In 2019, Corstem was successfully acquired by Circle Cardiovascular Imaging, a global leader in cardiac imaging. Following the acquisition, Pascal managed product and business operations at Circle while also advising and investing in over a dozen startups. In 2022, he returned to the startup ecosystem, joining Centech as an Entrepreneur in Residence.
